Virtual booths: Find the booth's content embed URLs

All materials (video, PDF, image, website, etc.) added to the virtual booths have to be in an embeddable form in order for it to show correctly on Brella.

Content

To place live streaming or video content to Brella, the only requirement is that the content must be embeddable to be shown in the iFrame. To share this embeddable content with your attendees, you need the correct embed link to place in Brella.

❓What is an iFrame? An iFrame is an element of a website HTML structure that allows embeddable content to be showed alongside other website content.

For virtual booths, you can place different content in the carousel section and the booth's sidebar.

To set content to the virtual booth, it is imperative to find the right embed link to Brella, as you can experience troubles with the content showing incorrectly in your booth if the link is incorrect. In rare cases, the page URL, for example, works as the embed link to the site.

Below you can find tips to find the correct embed link for your virtual booth content.

To find the correct embed link for your content in the virtual booths:

1. Embedding links are to be obtained from the service providers' side where your content is stored.
  • We have created a couple of excellent articles on how to distract the embed code for files stored in Google Drive and Youtube, but the best place to find the most up-to-date information is always on the service provider's knowledgebase. You can use search terms such as "how to embed XX " and "how to find an embed link from XX."
2. When you find the embed code for your content, it usually looks something like this:

    <iframe width="966" height="543" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/WOKoMHve3lk" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

    3.  From this code, you will only need the bolded part for Brella, the embed link. Pasting the complete embed code will prevent your content from showing properly on           Brella.

    4. Place the link to the booth and see how it looks from the attendee's view
