Admin Panel The backend of a Brella event, where the event organizer builds and edits the event. 
AI Artificial Intelligence
API API is the acronym for Application Programming Interface, which is a software intermediary that allows two applications to talk to each other
BOR Breakout room- a virtual meeting room that can hold up to 50 people. 
Carousel Virtual booth element that showcases sponsor materials. 
Categories Broad matchmaking topics that your attendees will network about. Examples are Marketing, Financial Services, or Engineering.
Click count This tells you how many times your attendees have clicked on the sponsor ad. 
Content slot These are openings dedicated to sessions or content in a time range previously setup within the schedule of an event.
CSM Customer Success Manager
CSV A comma-separated values file, which allows data to be saved in a tabular format.

Display count This tells you how many times an attendee refreshed or visited the attendee list page for the first time on the Brella platform or viewed the sponsor ad on the Home page. 
Display share Is the percentage of visibility assigned and divided between the Sponsors Ad.
Exports Refers to CSV files that contain relevant information of a Brella event. These files are exportable from the admin panel.
External ID Works like a customizable ID. You can use this column in case if you have your own IDs (for example in your CRM)
GDPR General Data Protection Regulation
Home page  The landing page of a Brella event. 
Host URL The designated URL address for breakout room access- only for breakout room moderators.
Hosted-Buyer Is a model for events to guarantee attendees (VIPs, Sponsors, or attendees) pre-qualified, relevant meetings. 

I-L

ID An ID of each item you create and export from the admin panel. You can find the ID by exporting a CSV. 
iFrame Is an inline box/space used inside a webpage to load another HTML document inside it.
Image Dimensions Are the length and width of a digital image. It is usually measured in pixels, but some graphics programs allow you to view and work with your image in the equivalent inches or centimeters
Image Format Describes how data related to the image will be stored. Data can be stored in compressed, Uncompressed, or vector format i.e. JPEG, GIF, PNG, TIFF
Intents Define the goals your attendees want to achieve with each interest they select. These will include the intents you defined.
Interests Detailed or specialized matchmaking topics that are related to the category. Interests under the Marketing category could include i.e., Social Media Advertising, Content Marketing, Event/Experiential Marketing, Digital Marketing, etc.
Invite-only A more secure joining process functionality used to generate unique invites for your attendees to have more control over who can join the event platform.
Join code A series of only letters, numbers, or both combined, used to access the event platform from the End-user at next.brella.io
Landing page AKA Home page
Locations A feature used in the Schedule to assign a name to a digital or physical place where the activity will take place.

manager.brella.io The URL address for the Brella admin panel.
Matchmaking A series of detailed categories, interests, and intents, that serves to match a profile with other relevant attendees at an event using AI technology.
Material Bank The digital site used to store information relevant to EO regarding how to build their event in the Brella platform. 
Meeting slots These are openings dedicated to use for meetings with other event participants in a time range previously setup within the schedule of an event
Mobile app Brella app on the Apple Store or Google Play Store
Networking slots These are openings dedicated to using for meetings and interaction with other event participants in a time range previously setup within the schedule of an event
Open link Shareable link inside the Brella Admin Panel that allows all participant to join the event platform through the same URL
Opt-in To choose to be involved in Networking activity within Brella meetings.
Opt-out To choose not to participate in Networking activity within Brella meetings.

 

S-Z

Seats Seats are like tickets. The ticket is stamped when they first enter the event using the unique join URL or join code; then, they do not need to use it again
Skip networking The choice to not fill one's matchmaking profile in an event. Denys also accesses other attendee's profiles. 
Start networking The choice to opt-in in networking. Access to all attendee profiles to find the best matches in an event. 
Stream Streams are a tab on a Brella event where the event organizer can place video and live-stream content
Tab Tabs are a paragraph-formatting feature used to align text and describe the content inside it.
Tags The feature used in the Schedule to assign a name to a designated definition for a session, track, or content accordingly to a topic
Traffic Is the amount of data moving across a network at a given point of time
URL Also known as an internet address or web address, a Uniform Resource Locator for addressing documents accessible over the Internet and Intranet.

Virtual booths Virtual booths are designated sections for possible sponsors, exhibitors, or other interesting content in the event. You can find the virtual booths always with the handshake icon in your event navigation.
Web app Browser version of Brella at next.brella.io
Widget In a programming context, a widget is a generic term for the part of a Graphical User Interface that allows the user to interface with the application and operating system. Widgets display information and invite the user to act in a number of ways.
In Brella's context, it is a code that allows Event Organisers to use the Schedule Widget to be integrated into their own website as it displays on the Brella platform.
