Troubleshooting: Join code

Learn how to use the join code and troubleshoot

To be covered:

• How to troubleshoot the join code if you receive the "your join code is invalid" message
• How to troubleshoot the join code if you receive the "your seat is full or seat has already been used" message
• What to do when you receive "the event seems to be in the past" message
• Check whether you have a Brella account already

When you receive the "your join code is invalid" message, and before the event or while the event is ongoing, please follow the steps below:

• The unique join code you received is for one-time use only. 
• If you have already used it and created an account, you don't need to input the code again. Go to next.brella.io or the Brella Mobile App and log in with your email. Your events are stored on My Events.
• If you didn't use the join code and still receive the error message, please contact the event organizers or us.

When you receive the "your seat is full" message, and before the event or while the event is ongoing, please follow the steps below:

• The unique join code you received is for one-time use only. 
• If you have already used it and created an account, you don't need to input the code again. The code has been used; therefore, you go to next.brella.io or the Brella Mobile App and log in with your email.
  
  💡The event should be stored on My Events. If you don't find the event there, request a new join code from the event organizer.
• If you are unsure whether you used the join code, please get in touch with us and explain that you used the join code AND give your email which you registered for the event. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
• If you didn't use the join code and still receive the error message, please contact the event organizers or us.
• If you used the join code and deleted your account, please ask the event organizers for a new join code.

If you see an error message "the event seems to be in the past" or "the event is over", please go to Joining a past event.

Check whether you have a Brella account; please follow the steps below:

• Go to next.brella.io and enter your email address and you will be prompted to enter the password.
• If you don't have a Brella account, the system will tell you after inputting your email. Please click on "create account" and fill in your details.
