Enable ticketing & registration

To start using ticketing and registration at your event, you must connect Stripe and enable the invite-only mode and ticketing on the admin panel.

πŸ‘‰Note: Currently, ticketing and registration work only when Invite-only is enabled. It's not possible if you'd like to have a single open join link/code for your event as an access option.

Follow the below steps to get the correct setup:

  1. Enable the 'Invite-only' feature on your event Details tab.

  2. Connect the Stripe account to your event. Go to the Integrations tab > click 'Connect with Stripe'

    connect-stripe-1
  3. Follow the steps to connect your existing Stripe account.

  4. Go to the Ticketing tab > toggle on the 'Enable ticketing'

πŸ’‘ Note: If you don't have a Stripe account, create one during the integration process with Brella or do it separately before connecting to the platform. Have at hand your company's billing information and details, especially for taxation and legal purposes.

Launch date

Once you have connected Stripe to Brella, it is time to customize the registration experience. You can add your branding from the ticketing tab and decide once participants purchase a ticket when to grant them access to the platform. claim-ticket

This last one is called 'Launch date.' Meaning that registrants will land on a count-down page after claiming the event ticket directly on the purchase page or through the email confirmation until the platform's opening. This count-down page is excellent to build expectancy and excitement! πŸ™Œ

πŸ‘‰ To select a launch date & time, after enabling ticketing, you can continue by filling the space for such underneath. Keep in mind that 'Launhc date' is a mandatory field. It can always be modified, but we highly recommend the launch date to be two weeks before the start of the event or aligned with your communications strategy.

❗Note: Launch date and event dates are different. The launch date is when you allow participants to access the platform to start setting their profile, pre-book meetings, and get familiar with the app and content displayed (schedule, sponsor booths, etc.). The event date is when the event officially starts.

Social Media Links

In this section, you can add direct links with pre-filled text so attendees can share the event with others almost instantly. There'll be a Share button on the registration page that will allow attendees to share the event through LinkedIn, Twitter, WhatsApp, and Email.

Formulate your personalized sharing links to allow attendees to share your event with others. Add a link to the sharing options on the Ticketing tab > Settings on the Admin Panel.
