Links are not showing correctly on my event/virtual booths/sessions

Learn why some links don't show on your event or virtual booth in Brella and what the alternatives are.

When creating a virtual booth or adding any other kind of content to your event, ensure to get the right link. πŸ™‚

  • The item's link has to be embeddable and,
  • It has to be shared publicly.
Otherwise, these items will not show and you will get an error page like the examples below.

Tip! Ensure the links are showing properly, every time you add new content to your event/virtual booth, please ask your colleagues to also review the content on their own computers.

Example 1

  • When you add a file/webpage to the virtual booth or stream/session URL category, and you see this image πŸ‘‰, it means that the original file has not been shared with the public. It is still a private file.

Solution: ask the owner of this file to share it with you as 'anyone with the link can view'. If the s/he cannot do so, it's highly suggested to share this document in the 'Company details' of the company as an alternative.

Example 2

  • When you add a document/webpage to the virtual booth or stream/session URL category, and you see this image πŸ‘‰, it means that the owner of this website disabled the embedding option to avoid having this content in unwanted places.

Solution: in this case, place these links as hyperlinks in the description of the virtual booth, session, etc.

Tip! If you need to embed a document or page, you can use iframely.

If you are using GDrive to share your documents, this is how the sharing rights should be so it can be embedded in Brella:
