Best Practices for Mobile app - Home screen

If you like the participants to have a first good impression about your event, here is how you can customize the Mobile app - Home screen.

Enabling the Welcome media

You can choose to upload an image, video or don't show anything in the home page when you access through the mobile app.

  • Navigate to
  • Click on the event 
  • Navigate to the Customization tab
  • Click on 'Home screen'
  • Scroll down to Mobile app welcome media 
  • Here you can add an image or video to share information and promote your services with your event attendees as soon as they enter the event platform.


Enabling event info and map

The Event Info tab allows you to add pages, images, posters, brochures, infographics, etc. for your attendees to have at hand before and during the event.

  • Navigate to
  • Click on the event 
  • Navigate to the Custom content
  • Click on 'Event info"
  • Click on "Create new" and complete the process

To add a Map to the Home screen, you will need to;

  • Navigate to
  • Click on the event 
  • Navigate to Setup
  • Click on 'customization'
  • Click on "Area map"
  • Provide a map to help attendees find a meeting spot at the venue


Enabling announcement

This feature allows you to send instant messages before, during, and post-event to the participants.

If there are no notifications set before the launch, the notifications section will be hidden to the participants.

Enabling Top networking

To be able to view the participants in the top networking list, the Event organizer has to enable the matchmaking feature. Only if it is enabled, the participants will be able to view the top networks based on what they are networking about and shuffle around.

Enabling speaker

The list of speakers will be displayed on the Mobile app - home screen to view by the participants, only if the feature is activated by Event organizer.

To activate the speaker's feature:

  1. Navigate to Admin Panel - 'People' tab
  2. Click on the 'Speakers' section in the tab.
  3. Toggle on the Speaker's feature. The change will be saved automatically and reflect in your event. 

If you want toggle off the speakers feature, the speakers will not be displayed on the home screen. The deactivation will not delete any previously saved speaker data. For more details you can go to Deactivate-Speakers tab.
