Web App: Brella App Availability

Learn how to access the Brella web apps, which browsers and devices are supported, and what countries can block the apps.

To be covered:

Intro

The Brella web app is used to attend events on the Brella platform along with the networking function between participants.

How to access the Brella web app

  1. First things first, get to know whether you need to access the Brella main event web app (next.brella.io) or whether the event you're attending is using a white-labeled Brella event web app (e.g. [app].brella.io). Based on that, you would be able to search for the correct app on the browsers. If the event organizer didn't let you know about that so far, don't hesitate to reach out to them again or reach out to Brella support.
    1. One limitation we're aware of is that for example in China (except for Hong Kong), Google Gmail login is not working because it is blocked, but the web app themselves seem to work fine.
  2. Brella web apps work on a majority of desktop devices, no matter the OS.
  3. Brella web apps work on all modern browsers such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft Edge. Other browsers like Opera, Brave, Vivaldi, DuckDuckGo, Chromium, and Epic should work but are not recommended.
  4. Some countries may not allow to access the Brella web apps from their country. Such countries may be China, North Korea, or Iran. Try using a VPN to access the web apps from these countries.
  5. Enjoy the experience 😎
