The live chat allows you, sponsor representatives, to send messages and connect with other participants through the virtual booth 24/7.
In addition, all participants will try to connect with you through this channel if not 1:1 meetings through the Meetings chat.
As a representative, you have full control of the chat in your booth. You can send messages, images, emojis and delete them if needed.
Managing Live Chats + Limitations
Find below the most commonly asked questions about the chats:
- When can I enable live chats?
Live chats for virtual booths can be enabled at any time. This has to be discussed with the event organizer as they have a specific plan for each booth/sponsor.
- How can I filter the messages in the chat?
You can't filter them, but you will always see the first last 100 messages created in the chat.
⚡️Note: Chat messages are not recorded or downloaded from the admin panel. But you can always see the last 100 messages.
- How to delete an inappropriate message?
1. Click on the three dots under the message (...), and click delete.
2. Then, a pop-up message will show and you need to click Delete.
- How do you send images and gifs through the chat?
Make the chat more interactive by using emojis and interactive images (GIFs) in the chat. You can find the emoji library 🙂in the left lower corner next to Type a message.
As for the images, you can add one by using a gif library such as Giphy.
- Is the Chat available on mobile?
Yes! You can also chat through the mobile app. You can download it from the Apple Store or Play Store.
